There is a drawing portion, and an acrylic painting portion. If you’d like to skip the drawing portion, there is a printable line drawing to trace.

To trace- simply cover the back of the paper with pencil where the lines are, then place the image over your paper and draw firmly on the line.

Materials needed:

• 11x14 canvas (or heavy duty paper)

• ruler

• pencil

• eraser

• Three paintbrushes: wide flat, medium round, medium flat

• Palette (paper plates work great)

• Acrylic paint colors: blue, orange, white, yellow is optional (or you can mix red/yellow to make orange)

Alternative supplies:

• tempera or gouache paint instead of acrylic
