Note from the instructor:
You may bring brands or items that are different than listed, I understand there are a lot of options, however it is highly recommended that supplies are selected in the artist grade category to ensure the best success in class. The brands listed are suggestions only, not requirements.
I will have reference photos available relevant to demonstration topics presented, however, the reference photo is really the spark, connection, and information that everything is built upon so having a quality reference photo is ideal to having a successful project.
What makes a good reference photo? Quality of information- photo is large enough to see, not blurry, has natural colors, and good lighting.
Tube paint. A couple of colors in each color family is a great place to start building your palette: azo yellow, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, raw umber, quinacridone rose, cadmium red, alizarin crimson, permanent green light, phthalo green, phthalo blue, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue
